Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Domingos Aires got the match started through his kick off. After 5 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Robert Wilson. Martin Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rigoberto Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petruț Fințescu got free with Leopoldo Lastur in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Elequemedo in the 12th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Petruț Fințescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petruț Fințescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With his leg Leopoldo Lastur managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Argentinos Juniors's Domingos Aires fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Aires came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Argentinos Juniors's Petruț Fințescu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Lastur was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bartolo Cresconio hit a great ball. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven de Zwaan in the 56th minute of the match. Argentinos Juniors were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Leones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leon Richie took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Petruț Fințescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rigoberto Nazario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Asier in the 61st minute. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Petruț Fințescu hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingos Aires in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Lastur saved Leones FC from getting behind. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Aires in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Elequemedo came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Fințescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Fințescu in the 74th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Argentinos Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
