David Azibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 9th minute of play forced Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper David Azibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Azibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 14th minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Isaac Valiente sent off a good shot on target. Isaac Valiente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pankracy Glogowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaac Valiente slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Ferdinand made a great header on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner, it was just that Toby Futbol Club's David Azibar managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Toby Futbol Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hermengildo Baraquiel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Chiriac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Azibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Azibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Chiriac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Toby Futbol Club defense, Mugur Chiriac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Azibar. The Toby Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Azibar should have stopped the shot. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Goicoechea was the one to do the kick off. Oscar Erroman hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Isaac Valiente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Hermengildo Baraquiel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Robustiano Sustrai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Toby Futbol Club! Robustiano Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toby Futbol Club's David Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Toby Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Toby Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Ferdinand took the corner. In the 96th minute, Mugur Chiriac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Atlanta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
