Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Veremundo in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Bangla Desh Fobal Club got a corner. Leones FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leon Eguzki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Adrian Söderqwist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leopoldo Lastur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Asier made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Richie got free with Zdzislaw Jenkot in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, Roberto Lewandowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Lewandowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Bangla Desh Fobal Club's zone, Martin Asier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Jenkot came out of the goal and Martin Asier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bangla Desh Fobal Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
