Teodosio Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Moscatelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Azibar made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gilberto Izel sent off a good shot on target. Toby Futbol Club's David Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Toby Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 19th minute of play forced Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper David Azibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Azibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Izel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Gilberto Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Azibar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Isaac Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Izel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, David Azibar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Toby Futbol Club's David Azibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 44th minute of play. La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Fernandez made a kick off. David Azibar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Izel's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 57th minute of play forced Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper David Azibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Azibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Izel in the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Fernandez in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Moscatelli saved La Scaloneta from getting behind. After 75 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Guerra. After 76 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Guerra. Thanks to some nice moves Isaac Valiente could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Franco Moscatelli however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Polat Aranda got a free kick in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, Gilberto Izel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Azibar. Toby Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Izel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save La Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Socorro came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Franco Moscatelli could save by the left post. Franco Moscatelli made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cristobal Socorro sent off a good shot on target. Isaac Valiente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Franco Moscatelli made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Isaac Valiente reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franco Moscatelli. The goal made the score 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. La Scaloneta were victorious despite being under pressure from Toby Futbol Club for much of the match.
