The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Aaron Guifre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Mitre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Mateo came free, but Ulises Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Corderun in the 35th minute of the match. Victoriano Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Paulo Segio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Ulises Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Segio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club A. Chipa y Tereré! Ulises Sidro had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Paulo Admon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ulises Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Paulo Admon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Sidro. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gaspar Mateo hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Gaspar Mateo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Sidro was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The supporters of Club A. Chipa y Tereré booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Chabier didn't get a good kick on the ball.
