Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius. But to his dismay, Enrique Rozarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gilberto Izel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orvar Bäckström having to make a save. When Enrique Rozarius came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the La Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Rozarius couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Basavilbaso FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Raimundo Marquez hit a great ball. Gilberto Izel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Orvar Bäckström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner ended in Enrique Rozarius almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström did a great save. In the 21st minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Rozarius hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Enrique Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basavilbaso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Gilberto Izel scored to the left of an out of position Orvar Bäckström, making the score, 3-0. In the 38th minute, Radomir Ratulowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Orvar Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Enrique Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Rubio made a kick off. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Damian Eduino hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Basavilbaso FC's Raimundo Marquez got a free kick in the 51st minute. Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius. But to his dismay, Enrique Rozarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gilberto Izel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Enrique Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Orvar Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Scaloneta. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zayvius Bengoechea hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Enrique Rozarius scored 6-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orvar Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save La Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. After having played for 86 minutes, Enrique Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Rozarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Clemente Rubio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Gilberto Izel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 95th minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Scaloneta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Basavilbaso FC for a fine match.
