An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 6th minute of play forced Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goalkeeper Perfecto Mongis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Mugur Chiriac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Perfecto Mongis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Perfecto Mongis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Goicoechea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Perfecto Mongis made a huge save. Paolo Caradaro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Ben Gant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mugur Chiriac hit a great ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Martins in the 16th minute of play. Perfecto Mongis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mugur Chiriac went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 22 played minutes Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Torres. 25 minutes into the match, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Perfecto Mongis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Alfonso Goicoechea scored to the left of an out of position Perfecto Mongis, making the score, 3-0. With a little luck, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Perfecto Mongis got control of the ball when Anselmo Nevada tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Lázaro Cuartio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Perfecto Mongis did a great save. Perfecto Mongis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 34th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta were furious when Ciro Ferdinand was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atlético Atlanta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 40th match minute, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Torres to maneuver through the defense. Perfecto Mongis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 41st minute of play. After 43 minutes Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Chwalkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paolo Caradaro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ben Gant hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Remigio Erramu hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mugur Chiriac to make the kick off. Mugur Chiriac took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perfecto Mongis. Perfecto Mongis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Perfecto Mongis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Chiriac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perfecto Mongis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Remigio Erramu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perfecto Mongis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Ben Gant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu was substituted for Remigio Erramu. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Mugur Chiriac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Perfecto Mongis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Nevada might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perfecto Mongis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Nevada ran back to his position shaking his head. Mugur Chiriac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perfecto Mongis having to interfere. Perfecto Mongis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 82nd minute of the match. Ambrosio Ovando hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Anselmo Nevada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perfecto Mongis was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Mugur Chiriac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
