When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gilberto Izel put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Virgilio Sotil. In the 33rd match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Izel to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Guido Mitxaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Gilberto Izel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Virgilio Sotil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Mateo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Izel scored 0-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Sotil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute of the match Guido Mitxaut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Moscatelli skillfully saved the ball. Virgilio Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Luca Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polat Aranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Sotil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Polat Aranda ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 79th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Sotil having to interfere. Franco Moscatelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Mateo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The Villa Mitre fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Scaloneta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
