The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Club A. Chipa y Tereré getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ulises Sidro hit a great ball. 0-4 became the score in the 28th minute when Jerônimo Martins elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jeronimo Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Baldovino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Segio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goalkeeper Perfecto Mongis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olari Mõniste. When Jerônimo Martins fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's protests and gave Jerônimo Martins a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club A. Chipa y Tereré booed when Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Corderun to make the kick off. Ulises Sidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Perfecto Mongis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Paulo Segio came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Jerônimo Martins. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Jerônimo Martins scored 0-6 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Segio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Gant came free, but Paulo Segio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Ovando hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Corderun in the 75th minute of play forced Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's goalkeeper Perfecto Mongis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Nicanor Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Gaudencio Joseph shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulo Segio but with some difficulty. After 82 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Olari Mõniste. In the 86th minute, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Jeronimo Baldovino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Paulo Segio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Chipa y Tereré from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd match minute, Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Ovando to maneuver through the defense.
