Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Perfecto Mongis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Libertad in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Froilan Kaxen was slow to take the kick. During this time Toby Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Toby Futbol Club's David Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Toby Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Joseph threw the ball into play from the sideline. Toby Futbol Club's Osvaldo Orlondo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pastor Libertad might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perfecto Mongis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Libertad ran back to his position shaking his head. Pastor Libertad took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perfecto Mongis. Perfecto Mongis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Delmiro Quinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Pastor Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toby Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Libertad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perfecto Mongis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ booed when Toby Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Orlondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Abel Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toby Futbol Club's Froilan Kaxen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ. In the 29th minute Pastor Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perfecto Mongis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toby Futbol Club's Pastor Libertad got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Pastor Libertad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perfecto Mongis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Toby Futbol Club made a substitution. Teodosio Fernandez replaced Pastor Libertad.

After some careless play in the Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ defense, Teodosio Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perfecto Mongis. The Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perfecto Mongis should have stopped the shot. Perfecto Mongis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
