The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Maldonado thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Perfecto Mongis, a very annoying self made goal in the 45th minute which led to 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Izel made a kick off. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli got control of the ball when Jerônimo Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilberto Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perfecto Mongis having to interfere. If Polat Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Damian Eduino. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Scaloneta.
