With 11 minutes on the clock, Florencio Arnas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Zdzislaw Jenkot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Aragones, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Manantiales Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Riquelme made a kick off. In the 51st minute Juan Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Jenkot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Jenkot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Ronaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
