After 24 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Kong Zheng Fan. Alfonso Goicoecheas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Virgilio Sotil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Villa Mitre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Gerardo Resto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 94th playminute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Villa Mitre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
