Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anacleto Cisco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Cisco in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Jakue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Mundo in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Sazon came free, but Amador Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Faro came free, but Filomeno Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Alejo Louis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Amador Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alejo Louis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Filomeno Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Copérnico F.C.'s Jorge Bernal got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Louis to make the kick off. Amadeo Florin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Filomeno Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Louis in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Leones FC's Jaime Mundo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute of the match Copérnico F.C. got a corner. Leones FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anacleto Cisco ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Celestino Damario got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amador Jakue quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arsenio Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Amador Jakue made a huge save. When Emiliano Faro came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Leones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Faro couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Alejo Louis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Santos. Copérnico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejo Louis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Leones FC's Amador Jakue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Sazon in the 92nd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Amador Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leones FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
