Ubaldo Quilino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Sabino Scapini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Uxio in the 19th minute of play. Sabino Scapini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Gaskon in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nunez Toribio hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Hilario Uxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Scapini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Dolcet's late challenge caught a Celestiales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 33 minutes, Albano Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celestiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Felipillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Errolan made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Christian Sesuldo. The supporters of Celestiales booed when Chuscha FC - Ψ - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Gaskon in the 48th minute of play forced Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goalkeeper Sabino Scapini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabino Scapini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Gaskon's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Gaskon was the one to do the kick off. Marcial Olayo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sabino Scapini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celestiales.
