With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodney Church prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franz Henry. When Franz Henry came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franz Henry couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Ayala in the 27th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Rodney Church to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Henry in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Oliverio saved LTA FC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Franz Henry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Oliverio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 37th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Brian Patterson. Genaro Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rodney Church tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodney Church showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Wiltshire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Franz Henry notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio. Roberto Oliverio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ariel Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Cristian Berdaitz got a free kick in the 64th minute. Peter Wiltshire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Roberto Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Tomelty in the 85th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zack Tomelty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Oliverio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Lázaro Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zack Tomelty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Tomelty in the 95th minute of play. Memphis Grizzlies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of LTA FC for a fine match.
