Brian Patterson charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 26 played minutes, Villa Mitre's Hipolito Corderro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodney Church came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Mitre reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Ramond in the 27th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Rodney Church to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Ramond made a kick off. Rodney Church was a little too slow when Adolfo Ramond got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Memphis Grizzlies's attentive Ron Mansfield managed to snatch the ball when Omar Franco made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Henry came free, but Roman Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Zack Tomelty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre's Roman Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franz Henry scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Montez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hipolito Corderro fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre's protests and gave Hipolito Corderro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Hipolito Corderro got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zack Tomelty might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zack Tomelty ran back to his position shaking his head. Ron Mansfield charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Borrowdale's late challenge caught a Villa Mitre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Borrowdale helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Patrick Borrowdale got a free kick in the 90th minute.
