Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Copérnico F.C.'s Anacleto Cisco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, LTA FC's Lázaro Ayala made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Napier was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Lázaro Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the LTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Ayala couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes of play, Copérnico F.C.'s Anacleto Cisco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Oliverio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeledon Orlanda hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Roberto Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Sazon in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Amadeo Florin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copérnico F.C. and the LTA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, LTA FC's Lázaro Ayala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Nunez Sazon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Mauro Napier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ariel Cisco. Genaro Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Napier having to interfere. Mauro Napier stood somewhat misplaced when Lázaro Ayala came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 23 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Zeledon Orlanda managed to get in a good position for a shot. LTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Orlanda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Cisco in the 28th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Copérnico F.C.'s Mauro Napier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Copérnico F.C. from getting a goal against them. Mauro Napier came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by LTA FC's Lázaro Ayala. But to his dismay, Lázaro Ayala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Zeledon Orlanda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 44th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Ayala made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Ayala came free, but Mauro Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Copérnico F.C. booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Cisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Ayala took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Napier. Mauro Napier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 66 minutes into the game, Cristian Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LTA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copérnico F.C. the free kick. Cristian Berdaitz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. LTA FC's Hipolito Batista was substituted for Ariel Cisco. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Cristian Berdaitz got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, LTA FC's Genaro Iliana broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With 78 minutes on the clock, Braulio Domenec commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 78th minute, one of Copérnico F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Copérnico F.C.. The referee gave LTA FC a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Genaro Iliana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Copérnico F.C.'s Mauro Napier. 6-2.
