But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Sazon couldn't finish the play. Anacleto Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Heimko Schober managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Heimko Schober was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruce Pesch's late challenge caught a Copérnico F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruce Pesch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Bruce Pesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruce Pesch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heimko Schober struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Mauro Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.. 20 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Sönke Odenwälder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Sazon. Mauro Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heimko Schober in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Froylan during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heimko Schober in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heimko Schober recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heimko Schober in the 45th minute of play forced Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Mauro Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Heimko Schober in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruce Pesch in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute Nunez Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sönke Odenwälder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Heimko Schober's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Napier was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Heimko Schober sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Mateus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copérnico F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. the free kick. After 72 played minutes Copérnico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Mateus. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Bruce Pesch got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Copérnico F.C.'s Jorge Bernal got a free kick in the 77th minute. Heimko Schober struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Mauro Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.. In the 83rd minute Roger Dohmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Dohmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Heimko Schober had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
