In the 2nd match minute, Guns And Roses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Guns And Roses's Florentino Hori got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Patrick Osterhagen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristo Gau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Richie Golz made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelito Demaria got free with Richie Golz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Christian Streich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, Guns And Roses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Patrick Osterhagen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guns And Roses's Cristo Domenec didn't even have to move. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Richie Golz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelito Demaria in the 26th minute of play. Cristo Domenec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heimko Schober went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristo Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Zeyer in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Dubinski. After 32 played minutes, Guns And Roses's Honorato Olayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richie Golz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guns And Roses reached it. Christian Streich kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Richie Golz got control of the ball when Cristo Gau tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Domingues came free, but Richie Golz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Gau to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Richie Golz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Domingues in the 51st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Cristo Gau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guns And Roses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guns And Roses's Cristo Gau got a free kick in the 61st minute. Heimko Schober received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cristo Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Cristo Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Golz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heimko Schober could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cristo Domenec made a huge save. After 76 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Olayo. Richie Golz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelito Demaria in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.!
