A collision led to The Obscurials getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adriano Ribeiro hit a great ball. The Obscurials's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Asopos Katsiavrias scored to the left of an out of position Zheng Chao, making the score, 1-2. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristian Gau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Copérnico F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Spânu was slow to take the kick. During this time The Obscurials's players had a chance to rest. The corner led The Obscurials's Fabian Spânu to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristian Gau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Copérnico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Mannie to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Leandro Mannie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copérnico F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Obscurials the free kick. The Copérnico F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Obscurials were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Montrell to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Gau made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Adriano Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Adriano Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Gau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Adriano Ribeiro rounded Copérnico F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Copérnico F.C. made a substitution. Alberto Tello replaced Sixto Jurgi. Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Copérnico F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Lawrance Grandison sped through Copérnico F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Gau. In the 90th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Eiró to maneuver through the defense. Zheng Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Montrell in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's Lawrance Grandison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Gau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Lawrance Grandison notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau. Cristian Gau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
