Niklas Sauter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Garci in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Igor Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Sauter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Cirilo Urki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Boulogne F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Serafino Gutierrez hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Macerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Urki. If Junior Adamu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Urki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Max Rosenfelder fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 55th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 59th minute of the match Junior Adamu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Macerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Raimund Wacker got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s Victorino Garci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niklas Sauter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Boulogne F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Urki came free, but Teodosio Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boulogne F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Macerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Macerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
