Victor Kiliz made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Cirilo Urki. Cirilo Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keylor Navas having to interfere. NECKER49's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Urki in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Junior Adamu hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Niklas Sauter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Junior Adamu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The penalty shot was made by Ernesto Jorrin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Niklas Sauter. 2-0. After some careless play in the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. defense, Haroldo Totakoxe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Sauter. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Sauter should have stopped the shot. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NECKER49 fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
