Cristian Gau didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anders Westerstrand to make the kick off. Adriano Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Gau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Cristian Gau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lawrance Grandison might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Gau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lawrance Grandison ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristian Gau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 96 minutes Copérnico F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Spânu who took care of the corner kick. The Obscurials's Fabian Spânu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Gau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sixto Jurgi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Obscurials's Lawrance Grandison got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Obscurials's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
