The coaching staff of Bangla Desh Fobal Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severino Neto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Severino Neto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The long shot by Pedro Nataniel in the 9th minute really tested Emilio Munio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Vicente Ricart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Guillelmus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Munio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Lugo in the 19th minute. Javier Romildo came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. Emilio Munio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Javier Romildo sent off a good shot on target. Emilio Munio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, Bangla Desh Fobal Club's goalkeeper Emilio Munio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Romildo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The Justicialista FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
