After 17 minutes, Ariel Ostots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copérnico F.C. and the Bangla Desh Fobal Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ariel Ostots hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Emilio Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asopos Katsiavrias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Emilio Munio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Bangla Desh Fobal Club from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute of the match Copérnico F.C. got a corner. Bangla Desh Fobal Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulino Ledesma ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Copérnico F.C.'s Paulino Ledesma to fire away a dangerous shot which Emilio Munio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Asopos Katsiavrias spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bangla Desh Fobal Club's goal. 39 minutes in the game Ariel Ostots did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sixto Jurgi. Cristian Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Isauro in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Jurgi got free with Emilio Munio in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Bangla Desh Fobal Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Isauro to strike the kick off in the second half. Ariel Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Emilio Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Angelo Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Gau having to interfere. Ariel Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau got control of the ball when Angelo Isauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Ariel Ostots in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bangla Desh Fobal Club's Vicente Ricart. Ariel Ostots got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sixto Jurgi. If Angelo Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Angelo Isauro fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bangla Desh Fobal Club's protests and gave Angelo Isauro a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Angelo Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Copérnico F.C. from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Bangla Desh Fobal Club defense, Alvaro Montrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Munio. The Bangla Desh Fobal Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Munio should have stopped the shot. Cristian Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Isauro in the 91st minute of play. Ciriaco Mateus's late challenge caught a Copérnico F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Mateus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Bangla Desh Fobal Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Mateus to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Copérnico F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
