In the 31st minute, one of La Guardia Imperial:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Guardia Imperial. The audience was convinced that Geraldo Bezerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Esdras was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Geraldo Bezerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Esdras having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ruben Esdras made a huge save. If Honorio Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th match minute, La Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Seber to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Esdras was a little too slow when Geraldo Bezerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-8. Maximiliano Lon made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Diagur. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Geraldo Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Candido Hermelando's late challenge caught a La Guardia Imperial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Hermelando helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lε COCO SρσяtiV getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Candido Hermelando hit a great ball. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
