Stiinta-Univ.'s attentive Aurel Panait managed to snatch the ball when Marlon Brando made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. Samuel Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Morovan in the 7th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tractorul Satulung -MM- defense, Valeriu Morovan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Hațegan. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Hațegan should have stopped the shot. Marlon Brando made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stiinta-Univ.'s Benjamim Urbano. In the 20th minute, Mădălin Cangeopol made a precise shot to the right of Martin Crețu. Stiinta-Univ.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Panait Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammet Altın in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Aurel Panait notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan. Panait Hațegan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Crețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 35 minutes, Valeriu Morovan made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Shi Ming Sheng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panait Hațegan. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Ming Sheng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 44th match minute, Tractorul Satulung -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Șişman to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Șerban Rușanu was substituted for Virgil Oargă. Stiinta-Univ. made a substitution. Okan Koc replaced Valeriu Morovan. Stiinta-Univ.'s Viteazul Flore was substituted for Muhammet Altın. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Okan Koc made a kick off. Panait Hațegan came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stiinta-Univ.'s Shi Ming Sheng. But to his dismay, Shi Ming Sheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. With a little luck, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan got control of the ball when Aurel Panait tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mădălin Cangeopol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Shi Ming Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Stiinta-Univ. got a corner. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antoni Kachamakov ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Tractorul Satulung -MM- getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alper Benli hit a great ball. Okan Koc's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Panait Hațegan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan got control of the ball when Okan Koc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wesley Sneijder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Crețu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Alper Benli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Mădălin Cangeopol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan got control of the ball when Okan Koc tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Wesley Sneijder got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Panait Hațegan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Panait in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stiinta-Univ. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
