Valeriu Morovan took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panait Hațegan. Panait Hațegan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Valeriu Morovan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panait Hațegan. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriu Morovan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Mădălin Cangeopol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mădălin Cangeopol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Crețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Crețu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 22nd minute. Panait Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammet Altın in the 23rd minute of the match. Mădălin Cangeopol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Crețu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alper Benli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Crețu. That made the score 1-2 in the 25 minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 30th minute of play. In the 39th minute Wesley Sneijder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Panait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Hațegan having to interfere. Mădălin Cangeopol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panait Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Morovan came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Viteazul Flore was substituted for Muhammet Altın. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alper Benli to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Martin Crețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Gacek came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stiinta-Univ.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antoni Kachamakov in the 59th minute. Aurel Panait made a great header on Stiinta-Univ.'s corner, it was just that Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan managed to reach the ball for a save. After 63 minutes Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antoni Kachamakov who took care of the corner kick. 64 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Okan Koc came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Tomasz Gacek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Shi Ming Sheng took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Panait Hațegan to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Tractorul Satulung -MM- getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alper Benli hit a great ball. Panait Hațegan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okan Koc in the 77th minute. Aurel Panait could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Panait Hațegan made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Mădălin Cangeopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okan Koc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mădălin Cangeopol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Crețu was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vágner Vargas took the corner. After having played for 97 minutes, Alper Benli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alper Benli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stiinta-Univ. played a much better game than Tractorul Satulung -MM- and deserved their victory. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
