The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nickolas Marx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Eget FC's Flemming Etwil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 13 minutes, Morten Lyngemark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eget FC and the Alsterbro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alsterbro FC booed when Eget FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morten Lyngemark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Pilberg's late challenge caught a Eget FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Pilberg helped the player get up and apologised. Fredrik Pilberg hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Lasse Dueskov, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eget FC's goalkeeper Calle Witcetz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robin Mills hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Kjell Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Witcetz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alsterbro FC's zone, Nickolas Marx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Falk came out of the goal and Nickolas Marx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

If Lasse Dueskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eget FC's Nickolas Marx got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alsterbro FC's attentive Stig-Åke Fors managed to snatch the ball when Gustaf Birklum made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. When Kjell Nyman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Calle Witcetz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tony Stenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Witcetz was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Eget FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Nyman came free, but Calle Witcetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Robin Mills hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Fredrik Pilberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Falk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lasse Dueskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nickolas Marx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Christian Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nigel Hermannsdottir kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eget FC fully deserved thier win.
