Biagio Quadrini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Forsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Vrångö FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Bergfeldt. Elias Jansson charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Jansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vrångö FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Elias Jansson hit a great ball. If Roland Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Elias Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrångö FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mele FC's Dario Iob got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Vrångö FC's Roland Holmgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Donadoni. Diego Donadoni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 33rd minute Biagio Quadrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Donadoni had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Roland Holmgren from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Diego Donadoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Asklöv, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Emanuele Berti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Forsberg having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Roland Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Donadoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Biagio Quadrini made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Vrångö FC's Patrik Bergfeldt got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Elias Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Roland Holmgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vrångö FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Mele FC's Emanuele Berti managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Patrik Bergfeldt in the 68 minute of the game. Jarl Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Donadoni having to interfere. Vrångö FC's Sven Sjögren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fulvio Zoff in the 77 minute of the game. If Sven Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Mele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Olofsson came free, but Diego Donadoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
