Kjell Sjögren spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Gualdo FC's goal. Fulvio Corvasce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Sundberg having to interfere. Alvise Ciarrocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Aleksander Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Ciarrocchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Vallhamn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Gualdo FC's attentive Fausto Diana managed to snatch the ball when Åke Brenner made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. The Vallhamn FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gualdo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gualdo FC.
