Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John McLae took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eraldo Sivieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Ferraro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Geddes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The Vigodarzere FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Vigodarzere FC's Damiano Cacciatore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute Fulvio De Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Saunders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Jason Geddes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edinburgh City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vigodarzere FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Edinburgh City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Geddes to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Chris Goudie in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vigodarzere FC's Eugenio Boldrini. Fulvio De Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Saunders having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Vigodarzere FC got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Cacciatore. Edinburgh City were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Vigodarzere FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciaran McAy took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulvio De Rossi in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Saunders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Edinburgh City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eraldo Sivieri was slow to take the kick. During this time Vigodarzere FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Vigodarzere FC booed when Edinburgh City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frankie Conlon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Saunders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio De Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vigodarzere FC booed when Edinburgh City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Gordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Damiano Cacciatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Saunders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Edinburgh City got a freekick which was hit by Josh McLairish. Vigodarzere FC's Eraldo Sivieri got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Damiano Cacciatore made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Amedeo Di Iorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, John McLae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John McLae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alberto Ferraro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Cacciatore scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Saunders, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Vigodarzere FC's Damiano Cacciatore got a free kick in the 65th minute. John McLae struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Alberto Ferraro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edinburgh City. Amedeo Di Iorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Saunders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Cacciatore in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Damiano Cacciatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vigodarzere FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Cacciatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Saunders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vigodarzere FC's Biagio Abete got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Vigodarzere FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fulvio De Rossi hit a great ball. Alberto Ferraro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John McLae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Saunders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio De Rossi in the 83rd minute of play. The long shot by Josh McLairish in the 88th minute really tested Alberto Ferraro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Chris Goudie with Ciaran McAy as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Frankie Conlon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Edinburgh City booed when Vigodarzere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Abete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulvio De Rossi's late challenge caught a Edinburgh City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulvio De Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute, Fulvio De Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vigodarzere FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Edinburgh City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
