A collision led to Tun FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Carl Håkansson hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Brian Stabbe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lerum F's Sven-Olof Hjortsberg. Sven-Olof Hjortsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Sten Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lerum F's Sven-Olof Hjortsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Palmkvist in the 26th minute of play. When Stig Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Tun FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lerum F:s goal. The goalkeeper, Carl Tunberg, was totally fooled by Lerum F's Vilhelm Nordin, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Palmkvist during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Tun FC got a freekick which was hit by Axel Palmkvist. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Axel Palmkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Palmkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Hjortsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tun FC's Axel Palmkvist in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lerum F's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Palmkvist was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Boris Molander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lerum F and the Tun FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Sten Falck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lerum F's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Falck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Tunberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lerum F's Sven-Olof Hjortsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lerum F from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lerum F getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Roger Ahlbom hit a great ball. Rutger Ahlkvist's late challenge caught a Lerum F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Palmkvist scored 2-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Hjortsberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rutger Ahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Hjortsberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Axel Palmkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot.
