Calle Witcetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Palmkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Flemming Etwil charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flemming Etwil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Eget FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Flemming Etwil hit a great ball. Axel Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Calle Witcetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eget FC's Lasse Dueskov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Manfred Colin, made in the 26th minute of the game. After having played for 29 minutes, Nickolas Marx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eget FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nickolas Marx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eget FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lasse Dueskov in the 34th minute. Eget FC were furious when Nicolai Tindbæk was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 35 minutes into the game, one of Eget FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Tun FC. Stig Gustafsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Calle Witcetz. 0-2. After the first half Tun FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Palmkvist was the one to do the kick off. Tun FC's Carl Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolas Marx in the 52nd minute of play. Carl Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Mills in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Tun FC got a freekick which was hit by Carl Håkansson. In the 58th minute of the match, Axel Palmkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Calle Witcetz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 60th minute Nickolas Marx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Witcetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Stabbe in the 68th minute of the match. Axel Palmkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Hedetoft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Tunberg having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Manfred Colin threw the ball into play from the sideline.
