Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Biagio Quadrini kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Mele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Larsfelt came free, but Diego Donadoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Donadoni came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Grillby FC's Stig-Arne Linberg. But to his dismay, Stig-Arne Linberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sune Snäll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Quadrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Andreas Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthias Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Edmondo Giannetta in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grillby FC's William Lund. Grillby FC's Matthias Grubb got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Matthias Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Donadoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Stefan Larsfelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Donadoni. Mele FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Larsfelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mele FC's Diego Donadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Grubb in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Grillby FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Gunnarsson. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthias Grubb made a kick off. Matthias Grubb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Donadoni having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Grillby FC's Diego Donadoni threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matthias Grubb, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mele FC's Diego Donadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Larsfelt in the 53rd minute of play. Sune Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Quadrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Matthias Grubb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grillby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Grubb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulvio Zoff hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Andreas Wallgren made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mele FC's Emanuele Berti. 64 minutes into the match, Grillby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Quadrini came free, but Sune Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Forsberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Donadoni came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Åke Forsberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 67th minute. Sune Snäll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Quadrini in the 70th minute of play. Matthias Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mele FC's Diego Donadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Grubb in the 78th minute of play. Emanuele Berti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sune Snäll having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Matthias Grubb took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Diego Donadoni to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute, Stefan Larsfelt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 90 minutes into the game, Mele FC's Biagio Quadrini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sune Snäll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Mele FC's Diego Donadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Grubb in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to Grillby FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Fred Gunnarsson hit a great ball.
