After a defensive mix-up in Lerum F's zone, Lech Warka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Hjortsberg came out of the goal and Lech Warka tried to chip the ball over his head. Blågula Fantomer FF's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Falck in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Falck during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Lerum F got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Falck. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sten Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tony Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Olof Hjortsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute of the game Alf Blomberg made a throw-in which Lech Warka played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Johnsson in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Hjortsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Blågula Fantomer FF were awarded a corner. Staffan Ros went to the cornerflag to take it. Sven-Olof Hjortsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Glad in the 73rd minute of play. Sven-Olof Hjortsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Glad in the 75th minute of the match. Gabriel Glad took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Olof Hjortsberg. Sven-Olof Hjortsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gabriel Jönsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Hjortsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Jönsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Blågula Fantomer FF were furious when Gustaf Nordström was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Tony Guimarães, was totally fooled by Lerum F's Vilhelm Nordin, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Aleksander Falck kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Rickard Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Blågula Fantomer FF were the better team. Blågula Fantomer FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
