Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jason Geddes in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Byrval prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tony Flex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Edinburgh City getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Frankie Conlon hit a great ball. Alling FC's Anders Byrval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Geddes in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, John McLae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1.
