Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roland Holmgren started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vrångö FC's goalkeeper Ivar Forsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mele FC's Biagio Quadrini got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Donadoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Elias Jansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Donadoni. Mele FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Jansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vrångö FC's Ivar Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Quadrini in the 20th minute of play. Pål Olofsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Donadoni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pål Olofsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes in the game, Achille Manzo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ivar Forsberg having to interfere. Mele FC's Emanuele Berti got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roland Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Donadoni having to interfere. Mele FC's Biagio Quadrini got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Emanuele Berti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Emanuele Berti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Forsberg. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Biagio Quadrini made a kick off. Emanuele Berti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Forsberg having to interfere. When Biagio Quadrini came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mele FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Quadrini couldn't finish the play. If Elias Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Manzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Forsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biagio Quadrini's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Biagio Quadrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Forsberg having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Roland Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrångö FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Roland Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Mele FC got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Quadrini. 85 minutes into the match, Mele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Holmgren came free, but Diego Donadoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Roland Holmgren made a precise shot to the right of Diego Donadoni. Mele FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Biagio Quadrini came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mele FC fans jumped to their feet.
