When Anfilogino Bravo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Scaltenigo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Bravo couldn't finish the play. Matthias Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Cavallucci having to interfere. William Lund ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Anfilogino Bravo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Grillby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Rolf Brask hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Filippo Cavallucci came out of the goal and Matthias Grubb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stig-Arne Linberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the game's 67th minute Grillby FC's Karl-Åke Forsberg took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Filippo Cavallucci and thus the score was 1-1. In the 71st minute Grillby FC were awarded a corner. Stig-Arne Linberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Andreas Wallgren made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Scaltenigo FC's Arturo Mastronardi. Filippo Cavallucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Larsfelt's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Andreas Wallgren hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Alfonso Romanese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Snäll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
