Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Grillby FC's Matthias Grubb started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Flavio Palmieri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gualdo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grillby FC the free kick. In the 2nd minute, one of Gualdo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gualdo FC. After 12 minutes, Kalle Wik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grillby FC and the Gualdo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sune Snäll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Corvasce in the 13th minute of play. Fausto Diana kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Stefan Larsfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alvise Ciarrocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sune Snäll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Corvasce in the 24th minute of play. If Stefan Larsfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Snäll came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Gualdo FC's Fulvio Corvasce. But to his dismay, Fulvio Corvasce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Orlandi was the one to do the kick off. Sune Snäll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Manzoli in the 51st minute of play. If Karl-Åke Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Ciarrocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Grubb, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Forsberg in the 62nd minute of play forced Gualdo FC's goalkeeper Alvise Ciarrocchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Grillby FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Gunnarsson. Alvise Ciarrocchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Grubb's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Gualdo FC's Alvise Ciarrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Grubb in the 68th minute of play. Anfilogino Manzoli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sune Snäll made a huge save. After 74 played minutes Grillby FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Brask. Alvaro Orlandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Snäll having to interfere. Sune Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Manzoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fulvio Corvasce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sune Snäll was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Grillby FC's Stefan Larsfelt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvise Ciarrocchi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Dave Ricciuti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gualdo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Ricciuti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
