Cirilo Rik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Segundo Egun made a huge save. Severino Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Segundo Egun made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eulalio Rafe sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Egun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Rafe in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when LEBRON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 32 minutes on the clock, Cipriano Poncio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 33 played minutes LEBRON got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Poncio. After recieving a nice pass, RED DEVIL's Lucas Aureo tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when LEBRON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Egun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Emenon in the 38th minute. After 44 played minutes LEBRON got a freekick which was hit by Donato Cefero. 46 minutes into the match, Cirilo Rik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Segundo Egun. LEBRON's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cirilo Rik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

LEBRON's Segundo Egun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Emenon in the 54th minute of play. Cecilio Louis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Barto having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in RED DEVIL's zone, Cecilio Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Barto came out of the goal and Cecilio Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Eulalio Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Egun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes LEBRON got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Federigo. In the 70th minute Feliciano Federigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Federigo in the 76th minute of play forced RED DEVIL's goalkeeper Severino Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Mincho charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Mincho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes, RED DEVIL's Amado Abarca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Segundo Egun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RED DEVIL reached it. Tadeo Emenon struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Segundo Egun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED DEVIL. Cirilo Rik took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Egun. Segundo Egun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 88 minutes into the game, Agustin Misael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED DEVIL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LEBRON the free kick. Agustin Misael kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The RED DEVIL support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
