An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Andrade in the 4th minute of play forced Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper J.J J.J. to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Eugeniusz Poniewaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Poniewaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Dimo saved Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting behind. When Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner ended in Berat Haliç almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berat Haliç in the 38th minute of play forced Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Jacque De Brouwer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that J.J J.J. narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Eugeniusz Poniewaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Dimo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Horneber came free, but Matias Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sc Ajax Hirtenberg defense, Washington Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of J.J J.J.. The Sc Ajax Hirtenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that J.J J.J. should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper J.J J.J., but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Matias Dimo managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Berat Haliç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 64th minute of play. J.J J.J. came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Westmeerbeek's Çelebi Tublek. But to his dismay, Çelebi Tublek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 69th match minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Rutgeerts to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo got control of the ball when Anselmo Bakar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugeniusz Poniewaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Matias Dimo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Bakar got free with Matias Dimo in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Philipp-Marc Ballik was substituted for Zhivko Tekerlekov. In the 82nd minute of the match Sc Ajax Hirtenberg got a corner. Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Fernando de Sena ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Fernando de Sena made a great header on Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's corner, it was just that Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo managed to reach the ball for a save.
