In the 10th minute, Konstanty Janiczek made a precise shot to the right of Antoni Piesciuk. KP Brzeg Dolny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the KP Brzeg Dolny defense, Tadeusz Raschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Piesciuk. The KP Brzeg Dolny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Piesciuk should have stopped the shot. Stuart Armstrong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kieca having to interfere. Sylwester Barciniak hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Stuart Armstrong made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 63 minutes, Tadeusz Raschke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Raschke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Konstanty Janiczek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antoni Piesciuk. Konstanty Janiczek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Konstanty Janiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk got control of the ball when Konstanty Janiczek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antoni Piesciuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Poland eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
