But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huang Tian Yun couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Lukasz Rukszcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Susara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Susara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Rukszcz in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukasz Rukszcz in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurențiu Susara saved Saronida FC from getting behind. Karmel Gian kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Huang Tian Yun struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Fan Xi Hong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saronida FC. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Squadra de Pippe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nikos Andreadakis was slow to take the kick. During this time Saronida FC's players had a chance to rest. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Huang Tian Yun made the kick off in the second half. Fan Xi Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huang Tian Yun in the 57th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Veniamin Zisimopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fan Xi Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Rigopoulos in the 94th minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Fan Xi Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Heinz Schneider came free, but Fan Xi Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Saronida FC's zone, Lukasz Rukszcz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Susara came out of the goal and Lukasz Rukszcz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saronida FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Squadra de Pippe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
