That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The RED DEVIL fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when RED DEVIL's Fernando Barreiros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in ReD DeeRs's zone, Fernando Barreiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melih Özyurek came out of the goal and Fernando Barreiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melih Özyurek came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by RED DEVIL's Fernando Barreiros. But to his dismay, Fernando Barreiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Temel Urangu scored 3-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Cafer Konuralp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Barreiros in the 22nd minute of play forced ReD DeeRs's goalkeeper Melih Özyurek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, ReD DeeRs's goalkeeper Melih Özyurek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Chap. ReD DeeRs's Melih Özyurek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Romo in the 31st minute of play. Melih Özyurek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Romo in the 34th minute of play. Cosme Kismi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Melih Özyurek made a huge save. After some careless play in the ReD DeeRs defense, Fernando Barreiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melih Özyurek. The ReD DeeRs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melih Özyurek should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, ReD DeeRs's goalkeeper Melih Özyurek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Kismi. In the 42nd minute, Fernando Barreiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RED DEVIL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Melih Özyurek was a little too slow when Tomás Romo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 6-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

Melih Özyurek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Barreiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Pablo Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED DEVIL's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Chap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melih Özyurek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ReD DeeRs's Erol Temizkal was substituted for Temel Urangu. ReD DeeRs's Melih Özyurek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Barreiros in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, ReD DeeRs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erol Temizkal to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when ReD DeeRs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erol Temizkal didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, ReD DeeRs's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Flores came free, but Melih Özyurek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that RED DEVIL were the better team. RED DEVIL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
