The audience thought a goal was coming when Indiana Jones got free with Angelino Donio in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Indiana Jones who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Angelino Donio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Luisito Iturri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino. Benjamin Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute Club El Progreso were awarded a corner. Lisandro Totakoxe went to the cornerflag to take it. Arsenal de Sarandi's Angelino Donio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal de Sarandi from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal de Sarandi's zone, Indiana Jones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Donio came out of the goal and Indiana Jones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grigore Ganea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benjamin Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 45th minute of play forced Arsenal de Sarandi's goalkeeper Angelino Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Ganea scored 1-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Tino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Izel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Indiana Jones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Donio was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Benjamin Tino made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Hector Izel sent off a good shot on target. If Indiana Jones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Angelino Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes in the game Äzim Qämbärov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patrizio Trabjerglund. In the 70th minute Hector Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal de Sarandi's zone, Indiana Jones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Donio came out of the goal and Indiana Jones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Indiana Jones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Donio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Club El Progreso's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Luisito Iturri scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Tino, making the score, 2-3. After a rather tough play, Arsenal de Sarandi's Äzim Qämbärov got a free kick in the 87th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Matías Kranevitter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Donio. Arsenal de Sarandi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Kranevitter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Club El Progreso's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
