The Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Daniel Onega looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Grigore Moșanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Queirós having to interfere. Ovidiu Dincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Petrean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Petrean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ovidiu Dincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chicão Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Onega, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ovidiu Dincă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Stålberg in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Onega in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chicão Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Onega in the 25th minute of play. Grigore Moșanu scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Eliodor Isaia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliodor Isaia might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidiu Dincă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Stålberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
