In the 33rd minute Túlio Maravilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Maravilha came free, but Angelino Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atibaia Raiders getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Túlio Maravilha hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atibaia Raiders's zone, Angel Jaume stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Olave came out of the goal and Angel Jaume tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenal de Sarandi's Angelino Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Mesquita in the 46th minute of play. The Arsenal de Sarandi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atibaia Raiders were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Maravilha to make the kick off. Grigore Ganea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Juan Carlos Olave tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Atibaia Raiders players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
