An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Mesquita in the 4th minute of play forced Wataha Świętokrzyska's goalkeeper Zachariasz Rakiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Wataha Świętokrzyska's Barnaba Zukowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Carlos Olave despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Atibaia Raiders booed when Wataha Świętokrzyska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Wierzchowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachariasz Rakiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Mesquita in the 11th minute of the match. When Pål Stensson fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atibaia Raiders's protests and gave Pål Stensson a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Wataha Świętokrzyska defense, Alejo Ferdinand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Rakiewicz. The Wataha Świętokrzyska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Rakiewicz should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Atibaia Raiders's Afonsinho Mesquita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wataha Świętokrzyska's Zachariasz Rakiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Maravilha in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Alejo Ferdinand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zachariasz Rakiewicz. Wataha Świętokrzyska's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejo Ferdinand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 32 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Zachariasz Rakiewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonsinho Mesquita's late challenge caught a Wataha Świętokrzyska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonsinho Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Atibaia Raiders got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Mesquita. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Maravilha to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Atibaia Raiders's zone, Barnaba Zukowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Olave came out of the goal and Barnaba Zukowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sylwester Szarmach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Zachariasz Rakiewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zachariasz Rakiewicz came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atibaia Raiders's Alejo Ferdinand. But to his dismay, Alejo Ferdinand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 67 minutes into the match, Atibaia Raiders's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Zukowski came free, but Juan Carlos Olave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Wataha Świętokrzyska's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Mesquita came free, but Zachariasz Rakiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 69th minute of the match Pål Stensson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pål Stensson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 70 played minutes Atibaia Raiders got a freekick which was hit by Pål Stensson. A collision led to Atibaia Raiders getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pål Stensson hit a great ball. Wataha Świętokrzyska's Zachariasz Rakiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Mesquita in the 79th minute of play. Zachariasz Rakiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Mesquita in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Mesquita got free with Zachariasz Rakiewicz in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marcus Edwards came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Atibaia Raiders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Edwards couldn't finish the play. Afonsinho Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Atibaia Raiders's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
